(Used) METASYSTOX Metasystox CASSETTE TAPE Hardcore, Punk

METASYSTOX – Metasystox (2002)

Metasystox were a German hardcore punk band whose self-titled release appeared in 2002 through Frontcore Records, DPG Records and Oi Free Youth Productions. Rooted in the German underground punk scene, the band operated within a musical tradition associated with confrontational attitudes, independent production and the DIY ethos. The release contains nine tracks, including "Der Preis", "Suffocate", "Verloren", "Sick Of You", "Stammbaum Eines Deutschen", "Psychisch Zerrüttet" and "Frl. Paranoia". With song titles appearing in both German and English, the record reflects the band's place within a hardcore punk culture that crosses linguistic boundaries while retaining its local identity. Metasystox represents a lesser-known release from the early 2000s German punk underground, particularly relevant to collectors interested in independent European hardcore and punk beyond the more established names.
