GRAF ORLOCK – Destination Time Asia Tour 2017

Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Graf Orlock are an American grindcore and hardcore punk band recognised for their distinctive concept of “cinemagrind”, combining relentless musical aggression with dialogue samples, references and narratives drawn from action films, science fiction and Hollywood cinema. Their sound features frantic drumming, abrasive guitar riffs, abrupt tempo changes and ferocious vocals, creating a chaotic mixture of grindcore intensity and hardcore punk urgency. Destination Time Asia Tour 2017 is associated with the band's Asian tour in June and July 2017, which included performances in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and Japan. The tour followed the release of their 2016 full-length Crimetraveler, an album that further developed their cinematic approach to extreme music. The Destination Time name also connects to the band's earlier trilogy of releases, which established their reputation for transforming film-inspired concepts into short, explosive compositions. An interesting piece of Graf Orlock's history, documenting their connection with the Asian underground hardcore and grindcore scene.

Visual inspection shows the cassette and tape to be in generally acceptable condition and it appears playable, but due to the age and nature of used cassettes, playback quality cannot be guaranteed.

If the exposed tape strip appears dusty or dirty, it may require manual cleaning before playback. Experienced cassette collectors will generally be familiar with the appropriate cleaning methods and handling precautions for older tapes.
