(Used) The Classical Collection CD - HANDEL

This Handel collection brings together major Baroque works across three CDs from The Classical Collection. Highlights include Water Music, Music for the Royal Fireworks, Arrival of the Queen of Sheba, selections from the Concerti Grossi Op. 6, the organ concerto The Cuckoo and the Nightingale, as well as sonatas, overtures and other instrumental works.

A good introduction to Handel’s grand, melodic and ceremonial style, covering both large-scale orchestral pieces and smaller instrumental works.
