(Used) HUMILIATION Face The Disaster CASSETTE TAPE

HUMILIATION – Face The Disaster (2009)

Formed in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in 2009, Humiliation emerged as one of the country's most dedicated old-school death metal bands, developing a distinctive military-themed sound heavily influenced by Bolt Thrower, Asphyx, Massacre and Gorefest. Released in 2009 through Nebiula Production, Face The Disaster was the band's debut EP, introducing their uncompromising approach to death metal through four tracks: "Nuclear Imaging", "Strategy", "Fragging" and "Battlefield". Featuring Bear-Bee on vocals, Matt on guitar, Afe on bass and Mudon on drums, the recording delivers approximately 14 minutes of crushing mid-tempo riffs, heavy rhythmic grooves, guttural vocals and pounding percussion. Rather than pursuing the technical complexity or relentless speed favoured by many contemporary death metal bands, Humiliation emphasised straightforward, memorable compositions built around the atmosphere and destructive intensity of warfare. Recorded at Theatrical Studio in Malaysia, Face The Disaster established the musical foundation that would define the band's subsequent recordings, particularly their debut full-length Dawn Of Warfare (2010). An important early document of Malaysia's old-school death metal movement, capturing Humiliation at the beginning of their prolific career.
