BADASS FARMER – Rehearsal Demo

Badass Farmer is a Malaysian grindcore project featuring members of Shitnoise Bastards, with T'e on drums, Zul on vocals and Hazree on guitar and vocals. Delivering an uncompromising mixture of raw grindcore, noise and hardcore punk aggression, the band embraces the chaotic, abrasive and deliberately unpolished sound associated with the underground grind scene. Rehearsal Demo, released through Raung Records and Total Shit Production, contains 18 tracks running approximately 20 minutes, including covers of songs originally performed by Unholy Grave, Napalm Death and Hellnation. Despite its rehearsal origins, the material demonstrates recognisable song structures and guitar arrangements beneath the distorted, noisy production, distinguishing Badass Farmer's approach from the more chaotic noisecore of Shitnoise Bastards. Musically, the recording recalls the raw intensity of bands such as Agathocles, Archagathus, Warsore and early grindcore pioneers, combining short bursts of aggression, relentless drumming and harsh vocals. An uncompromising document of Malaysia's DIY grindcore underground, particularly suited to listeners who appreciate extreme music in its most primitive and unrefined form.
