(Used) BLEED FROM WITHIN Era Fracture metalcore

RM 40.00

Bleed From Within are a Scottish metalcore band formed in Glasgow in 2005. Their early material leaned towards deathcore, but the band gradually developed a more distinctive combination of modern metalcore, melodic death metal and groove-heavy riffing.

Scott Kennedy’s harsh vocals are supported by the twin-guitar work of Craig Gowans and Steven Jones, with precise drumming, large breakdowns and melodies influenced by bands such as Lamb of God, In Flames and Architects. These two albums document the period in which Bleed From Within returned from uncertainty and became one of Britain’s leading modern metal bands.

1. Era — Digipak

Released in 2018 through Century Media, Era was Bleed From Within’s first studio album in five years. It also introduced guitarist and clean vocalist Steven Jones, completing the line-up that would carry the band through its subsequent rise.

“Alive” announced their return with an immediate combination of melody and aggression, while “Afterlife,” “Crown of Misery,” “Cast Down” and “Bed of Snakes” delivered technical riffs, powerful grooves and memorable choruses.

Produced by Adam “Nolly” Getgood, Era sounds precise and modern without becoming sterile. It re-established Bleed From Within after a difficult period and provided the foundation for everything that followed.

2. Fracture

Released in 2020 through Century Media, Fracture took the sound developed on Era and made it heavier, sharper and more confident.

“The End of All We Know” became one of the band’s defining songs, combining an enormous opening riff with orchestral atmosphere and a memorable chorus. “Pathfinder,” “Into Nothing,” “Fall Away” and the title track maintain the momentum, while “Night Crossing” features a guest guitar solo from Matt Heafy of Trivium.

The album balances metalcore breakdowns with melodic death metal guitar work, groove metal weight and carefully placed clean vocals. Its songwriting is tighter than Era, with each song carrying a clearer identity.

For newcomers, Fracture is the strongest starting point. For existing fans, Era remains essential as the album that began Bleed From Within’s second chapter.
